Canonical culinary data

This directory contains portable, presentation-neutral schema-version 2 data. Astro reads these records at build time, but its pages and components are not canonical culinary storage.

The records in this directory are the sole canonical culinary source. Do not create an ingredient for a prepared component when it can be represented as a recipe reference.

Directories correspond to entity types and, later, relational tables. Objects that are edited as one aggregate (recipe components, lines, and steps) remain embedded in a recipe document. Independently reusable facts use stable IDs and normalized references.
